I Love You Test

Didn't know why this magazine is called I Love You Test, so I entered its title into a search engine. YouTube videos of pulsating subwoofers appeared in large numbers, each playing an instrumental track used to calibrate stereos called, "Bass I Love You Test," These videos attract hundreds of thousands of page views.

Bob The Video Maker "tested" Max The Wonder Dog to say, "I love you":

And one of the highest ranking keywords associated with love is "test." When "love," is typed into Google, The Love Calculator ranks first or second.

In the days of Courtly Love, a Knight's love was directly tested by His Lady. Some relationship experts tell us that men still enjoy performing courageous (etymology: cor "heart") acts to prove their love, and that women don't understand this anymore.

In our culture, we think love's biggest test is time. But time doesn't equal love either. Or maybe every moment is a new experiment: a test. If you enter it clearly, without baggage from the past or expectation for the future, you're open to love.

Right. Sooooo, I still have no idea why this teen mag is titled I Love You Test...

I think you've got the right association. Love is a moment-to-moment thing. It doesn't stand still.
